The Albanese Government is making it easier for Australians to stay connected when they need it most.

One year on from the nationwide Optus outage, the Albanese Government has made considerable progress in improving telecommunications network resilience, complaints handling and customer communications during network outages.

The Albanese Government will legislate 16 as the minimum age for access to social media, following endorsement by National Cabinet today.
