The Albanese Government continues to partner with Toowoomba Regional Council to get high priority local infrastructure off the ground, with construction of the Melrose Road bridge now complete and open to traffic.

The Ipswich CBD will soon begin its transformation thanks to a $3.8 million investment from the Albanese Government to fund detailed upgrade designs.

Safer trips across the North Maroochy River at Eumundi will soon become a reality with construction set to begin on a new pedestrian bridge which will link with the existing footpaths in the area.

A new and improved sewerage treatment plant has today opened in Port Hinchinbrook, near Cardwell in Queensland’s north. 

The Australian Government is continuing to improve road safety for truck drivers and other travellers across the country, with six new projects announced under the fourth tranche of the Heavy Vehicle Rest Area (HVRA) initiative.

The Albanese Government is investing a further $31.7 million to improve road safety in the Northern Territory through the Commonwealth’s Road Safety Program.

A new national road safety campaign ‘don’t let a car change who you are’, funded by the Albanese Government, has launched across Australia today.
