Privacy notice

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts (the department) is collecting personal information for the purposes of providing a web form through which internet users can submit written enquiries to the office of the Minister for Communications, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.

The department will use your personal information for transmitting enquiries to the Minister’s office, and will store this information securely. The department may also use your personal information for developing responses to enquiries, if requested or other required.

The department may disclose information to third parties within Australia or internationally for the purposes of referring for response any matters falling outside the Minister for Communications’ portfolio responsibility. If you do not provide the information requested, the department or Minister’s office may not be able to respond to your enquiry or refer your enquiry for external response where appropriate.
