Barclay Street Recreation Precinct Upgrades complete
Weekends and after school have never looked better in Eden (on the NSW far south coast), with a series of upgrades to the Barclay Street Recreation Precinct complete, in time for the holiday season.
The transformation was made possible by over $3.8 million from the Albanese Government, and over $1.58 million from the NSW Government.
The centrepiece of the upgraded precinct is a new all abilities playground, which includes a zip line, carousel, basket swing and ship – reimagining how children from the region play.
A skate park, half basketball court, upgraded car park and barbeque facilities were also delivered as part of the works, along with pathway and landscaping improvements throughout the precinct.
These enhanced facilities provide an option for all ages – boosting physical health and community engagement in Eden.
