Cruickshank Reserve upgrades making waves
One of the latest projects delivered by the Australian Government, in partnership with the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, is making a huge impact in the Maylands community in South Australia.
The over $1.3 million Cruickshank Reserve Facility Upgrade – which was completed earlier this year, was officially opened today by Senator for South Australia, Marielle Smith, and Mayor of the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, Robert Bria.
Made possible with $888,786 from the Australian Government, and $432,475 from the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, the new facilities are improving the local playing experience, while increasing community engagement.
The project delivered a new clubroom, two unisex change rooms and toilets, a canteen, an office, storerooms and two publicly accessible toilets.
This ensures the Maylands community have access to modern, fit-for-purpose facilities – and is part of over $3 million in funding delivered to the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters under the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
