National Capital Authority Chair reappointed

Terry Weber has today been reappointed as Chair of the National Capital Authority (NCA), continuing his excellent track record of leading the NCA in promoting and enhancing Canberra as the nation's capital.
Assistant Minister for Regional Development and Territories Sussan Ley said the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) reappointed Mr Weber, who has served as Chair of the NCA since 1 January 2015, for another three-year term.
“I look forward to continuing to work with Mr Weber and congratulate him on his reappointment,” Ms Ley said.
“Under Mr Weber's leadership, the NCA has made significant progress in implementing a program of strategic financial and governance initiatives, and I'm sure his next term will build on this success.
“Mr Weber brings extensive and invaluable knowledge and experience in property, infrastructure, land and financial management to this important position, including experience as a Senior Consulting Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
“Mr Weber's experience and leadership will ensure the NCA continues in its important role to plan and develop Canberra and foster awareness of Canberra as the national capital.”
The National Capital Authority manages the national capital estate on behalf of the Australian Government, and administers the Government's interest and role in the strategic planning, promotion, development and enhancement of Canberra as the national capital.
